The Neil Beach Biology Slide GettDigital Collection contains a sampling of the slides taken by Gettysburg College Professor Neil Beach as part of his research. He served as Professor of Biology from 1960-1993. For over 30 years, Beach created slides of flora and fauna. Whenever possible, he handwrote on the border of each slide the common and scientific names as well as the location and date he photographed the image. This digital collection features slides taken in the United States including a selection of local images from Adams County, Pennsylvania.
