Gettysburg College Publications Collection
The College Publications collection contains the following publications:
- The Gettysburg College Alumni Magazine (1930-2016): The Gettysburg College Alumni Magazine was first published in 1930 as The Gettysburg Alumnus. The publication later expanded its focus to include Gettysburg College alumni, parents, and friends. Issues after 2016 are available in the Special Collections Reading Room.
- This Week at Gettysburg (TWAG) (1968-1993): TWAG was the weekly campus newsletter, containing annoucements, events, and meetings. Three versions were published: one for the campus, one for faculty, and one for students.
- The Alumni Record of Gettysburg College, 1832-1932 by Clyde B. Stover and Charles W. Beachem: The Alumni Record is a catalog of all those who were enrolled in Gettysburg College since its founding in 1832 (as Pennsylvania College) to its 100th anniversary. For each person it also includes facts about the student's record in College: their school record at other institutions; date and place of birth; relatives who attended the College; employment information; date and place of death; family data; and address.
- A Salutary Influence: Gettysburg College, 1832-1985 by Charles Henry Glatfelter: Written by Professor and Alumnus Dr. Charles H. Glatfelter '46, A Salutary Influence was published in 1987 in commemoration of Gettysburg College’s 150th anniversary. The two-volume set includes a detailed index at the end of the second volume.
Course catalogs from 1837-2016 are available on the Internet Archive.
